"Viração" is a comfortable country house with a fantastic view over the hilly country and the Atlantic Ocean.

A car is essential as it is located 40km from Lisbon, 15km from Sintra, 12km from Cascais and 2km from Malveira da Serra

Lisbon can be reached on the motorway (A5) in approx. 30 minutes, the nearest beach in approx. 7 minutes; several golf courses and tennis in the surroundings. Good shopping possibility (two small supermarkets, butcher, farmacy, bank, hairdresser etc., restaurants and cafés) in Malveira.

Isolated location on a 11.000 sq/m piece of land in rural surroundings, approx. 5km from the Guincho beach (well known in windsurfer circles) and near the Cabo da Roca, the most Western spot of Europe.

3.000 sq/m are layed out garden with old trees, shrubs and flowers (willows, palm trees, mimosas, lavender, roses etc.), the remaining 8.000m2 are naturally wild.

A 500m long, slightly steep and curvy private way leads off the main road to the house.

The caretakers (an elderly couple) live in the little cottage next to the main house and look after the country home (weekly cleaning with changeover of linen, towels and kitchencloths), the swimming pool (12,5m x 6m) and the garden.

Any additional services (washing and/or ironing of the personal laundry etc.) are to be arranged directly with the housekeeper, respectively to be paid directly also.

Heating: Not included, supplement on request (recommended from Oct till mid June) - Wood for the fireplace not included.

Arrival from 15.00 to 18.00 hours. In case of Delay it is essential to contact owner or person in charge of the keys within the a/m period in order to guarantee the respective delivery.
Departure until 10.00 hours
On receiving the keys a SECURITY DEPOSIT equivalent 500,00 Euros is to be paid against receipt to the person in charge
The rented object is to be left in the condition received, otherwise (and/or) in case of damage the respective costs will be deducted from the security deposit.
Should the number of persons occupying the object exceed the number of persons reserved / reconfirmed, the owner reserves the right to refuse admission.
The available towels are NOT to be taken to the beach /pool.
No pets allowed.

25% deposit of the total amount due on reconfirmation of the booking. If deposits are not received within 21 days, reservation will be cancelled without previous notification
75% remaining amount due 60 days prior to arrival
RESERVATION FEE 15 Euros or equivalent
Booking on shorter notice: total amount due according to deadline
