THE QUINTA
Quinta da Boa Viagem is a 16th Century Manor House situated in a village only 6 km from Viana do Castelo.

Quinta da Boa Viagem offers you 6 cottages, a total of ten rooms. The cottages are situated in the former estate buildings, and have been converted to a very high standard. They are very tastefully decorated and are extremely comfortable.

There is a swimming pool in the grounds for the use of the guests, alternatively there are natural pools in the river that runs past the house, and also a children's play area to make the younger members stay a very special one.

There is Baroque style garden known as the "Moor's Eira" where you will find various sculptures and mythological Chinese statues dedicated to laziness among other things. These gardens are really best enjoyed with a book and a glass of wine, sitting in the shade of a tree to the sound of the water in the river nearby. From the gardens (or even from the swimming pool) guests may admire the enchanting view of the sea stretching away to the horizon.

THE COTTAGES
In each cottage there is a living room with a fireplace (except the 4 person cottage which has central heating . A fitted kitchenette with microwave, fridge and dining table, where you can prepare simple meals.

All the bedrooms rooms within the cottages have a private bathroom (except the cottage for 6 persons where 2 rooms share 1 bathroom ). In the old Manor House you will find a comfortable living room where you can relax by the fireside, it also has a TV and games table.

Minimum Stay 3 days
Arrival/ Departure any day
Arrival from 15.00 to 18.00 hours. In case of delay it is essential to contact owner or person in charge of the keys within the a/m period in order to guarantee the respective delivery.
Departure until 10.00 hours
On receiving the keys a SECURITY DEPOSIT equivalent 200 Euros is to be paid against receipt to the person in charge
The rented object is to be left in the condition received, otherwise (and/or) in case of damage the respective costs will be deducted from the security deposit.
Should the number of persons occupying the object exceed the number of persons reserved / reconfirmed, the owner reserves the right to refuse admission.
The available towels are NOT to be taken to the beach /pool.
No pets allowed.

25% deposit of the total amount due on reconfirmation of the booking. If deposits are not received within 21 days, reservation will be cancelled without previous notification
75% remaining amount due 60 days prior to arrival
RESERVATION FEE 15 Euros or equivalent
Booking on shorter notice: total amount due according to deadline
Payments should be effected by:

Bank draft / cheque on a Portuguese bank

Postal order

or

Wire transfer (full payment can only be considered if transfer is free of all expenses for the beneficiary)

Full bank details on confirmation of the booking

Cancellation

Up to 60 days prior to arrival...................................................10 % of the total amount
Up to 45 days prior to arrival...................................................20 % of the total amount
Up to 30 days prior to arrival...................................................50 % of the total amount
Up to 21 days prior to arrival...................................................70 % of the total amount
Less than 21 days prior to arrival or "no show"........................100 % of the total amount
