Sintra Palace

One afternoon discovering the charming village of Sintra with its Royal Palace, and the unforgettable coast of Cabo da Roca, Cascais and Estoril.

For an unforgettable afternoon, we leave in direction of Sintra (Cultural Landscape by UNESCO), where you have free time to enjoy one of the most beautiful villages of Portugal with its Royal Palace, a charming spot where the Portuguese Royal Families spent long summers, and where the rich collection of glazed tiles (azulejos) and the two conical chimneys of the kitchen’s palace are the “ ex- libris” of Sintra, its craft shops and the most famous pastry shop "The Piriquita", where you will taste one of traditional pastry (queijada or travesseiro) and a soft drink. Then we will drive through Sintra’s mountain arriving at Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point in continental Europe. Along the coast, passing by Guincho beach, spot for wind surfers, Boca do Inferno a grotto created by sea erosion, always with a sea view enjoying the landscape until the cosmopolitan Cascais where we take a glimpse over the bay. We return by way of Estoril where we can have a panoramic view of the Casino and its gardens.
