Vale do Lobo golf beach resort

The oldest tourism resort in the Algarve, Vale do Lobo extends over 400 ha (988 acres) along 2 km of the Algarve coast, in Almancil.

The resort already features a 5-star hotel and some 1,500 privately owned property assets. The new stages of the development, known as Vale do Lobo II and III, will include an additional 500 villas and a new 5-star hotel (180 suites). The new areas under development are "The Oceano Club" (Vale do Lobo II) and "Vale Real" (Vale do Lobo III). Oceano Club has still some of the last true beachfront land available. It directly overlooks the Atlantic waves and is flanked by a natural reserve. The area is primarily given over to plots for customized villas, some of which remain available for sale. Vale Real was released for development at the end of 2005. This development will eventually accommodate 283 luxury residences, including custom-built villas, linked villas and apartments. The first phase is underway, with installation of the necessary infrastructures.

The resort is offering as well, a range of brand-new leisure and sports facilities such as three golf courses, tennis courts, a gym, swimming pools and a sports centre.
