Opened in 1965, it has 32 rooms and a small swimming pool. It is well known for its restaurant.

Convento do Espinheiro Heritage Hotel & Spa***** The Convento do Espinheiro is a luxurious hotel located just outside the city of Évora. Quinta do Colmeal (Self Catering) The Quinta do Colmeal is situated in a historical setting within 3 km of Vila Viçosa, famous for the hunting palace of the Portuguese kings. A group of beautifully restored traditional Portuguese farm houses, with swimming pool, dating back to the 16th century. Built around a Roman hermitage amidst a mature orchard of olive, cork and stone oak, almond and orange trees.

Pousada de Nossa Senhora da Assunçao Settled in a valley near Arraiolos - a village famous worldwide for its hand made carpets, Arraiolos Pousada is the result of the restoration of a 16th century Monastery, an example of the perfect harmony between the traditional and the modern concepts of Portuguese architecture. Surrounded by cooling streams, the silence is only interrupted by flocks of sheep passing by. Pousada Rainha Santa Isabel This beautiful Pousada is situated in a magnificent 14th century castle built by King Dinis I for his wife, Saint Isabel. The royal residence high on a hill overlooks the little town of Estremoz. The Pousada at Estremoz is one of the most luxurious.
