Scuba Diving
Experience the magic of the underwater world with our PADI Discover Scuba Diving course. Scuba Diving in the Algarve with our fully qualified instructors. When you're happy with this you'll put your new found knowledge to work with your first dives in the swimming pool. Be prepared for your first breath under water - it's like nothing else you'll ever do. By lunchtime you'll be showing off the skills you've mastered and feeling the freedom of the ocean. If you want to go even further we'll take you through your PADI open water course which will let you dive anywhere in the world in just 4 days.
For those of you already a certified diver we have many varied and wonderful locations for you to explore.

Bowls Run along traditional lines, the Parque da Floresta Bowling Club Has two all-weather Greengauge greens offering up to 14 rinks.
Horse Riding Guide-accompanied treks through the breathtaking local countryside. Lessons also available.
Archery An Olympic sport which is rapidly becoming a popular family pastime.

Dining and Entertainment

The restaurants at Parque da Floresta offer something for all taste buds for breakfast, lunch and evening meals. You'll find everything from traditional local fare to Mediterranean style dishes and healthy options, Italian favourites and gourmet cuisine. At the heart of Parque da Floresta with spectacular views of the golf course the O Parque has a new menu with an appetising blend of international cuisine combined with traditional local ingredients. The restaurant hosts new social evening events and is still the venue for all the resort's festivals.
Blue lagoon
This new Pool-side Restaurant offers a Mediterranean style with a 'creole' flair menu. The À la carte menu of grilled and barbecue food, includes innovative snacks and sumptuous salads.
Spa Terrace
Previously the Spa Bistro, the new look Spa Terrace serves 'Asian fusion' cuisine. An oriental flavoured à la carte menu, planned to maximise healthy choices, consists of delicious salads with fish specialities and freshly squeezed fruit juices.
Vicentino's Trattoria
Adjacent to Resort Reception and formerly the Tennis bar, Vicentino's will offer a choice of Italian dishes, including home-made pizzas, fresh pastas with special signature sauces, salads, crostini and mouth-watering Italian desserts.
Blue wave Beach Bar
Located on the picturesque beach of Cabanas Velhas, just a 5 minute drive away from Parque da Floresta. The attractive cabin-style restaurant allows you to savour lunch or dinner, whilst you take in views of the Atlantic Ocean. During the day menus feature light salads, fresh fish, Italian breads & sandwiches and in the evening dishes are a little more formal using local ingredients the Mediterranean way with an exotic twist. Details will be displayed at Parque da Floresta of a shuttle bus service that operates from the resort to provide transportation to this new beach retreat.
